Baton Rouge High competed at the LSU Natatorium in the CCSL swim meet alongside 19 other schools on October 30.

The girls team placed fourth with 144 points, while St. Joseph’s Academy placed first with a score of 441 .

The boys team from placed sixth with 122 points, while the Catholic High School Bears placed first with a score of 623.

Top finishers for the girls were Amanda Richter, fourth in the girls 100 yard breaststroke; Phoebe Hemmering, sixth in the girls 100 backstroke: and Nora Scott placed second in the girls 50 yard freestyle.

The top finisher for the boys was Jack Penniman, second in the 200 yard freestyle.

The girls received fourth place in the 400 yard freestyle relay. Swimmers were Phoebe Hemmerling, Alyssa Kelliher, Anacelia Galeano, and Nora Scott.

The boys received second place in the 400 yard freestyle relay. Members of the relay team were Dylan Oquinn, James Liddy, Genta Teruyama, and Jack Penniman.
